"Surveillance Analysis and Situational Awareness Using Artificial Intelligence"
The project “Surveillance Analysis and Situational Awareness Using Artificial Intelligence” is implemented with co-financing from the European Union under the measure “Supporting Intersectoral Mobility (SEKMO)” (industrial PhD / knowledge transfer doctorate).
The objective of the project is to develop an AI-based surveillance framework that enhances situational awareness in the fields of defence, security, and civil protection. The focus is on real-time processing of large and complex sensor and video data, anomaly detection, and the application of predictive analytics to enable early threat detection and support more informed decision-making.
As a result, a prototype of an AI-based surveillance framework will be developed, capable of processing multi-source data in real time, identifying anomalous behaviour patterns with high accuracy, and predicting potential incidents. The results of the project will be validated through simulations and pilot applications.
The project is co-financed by the European Union.
